Benedicta (Bunny) is a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (IMF#96120). She received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary and M.A. In Theological Studies (Marriage, Family and Community emphasis) from Regent College. Her prior work experiences include a wide range of social services/ community based nonprofits (foster/adopt, homeless women, academic programs, at-risk adolescents and children), and extensive church ministry. Bunny has prior clinical experience and training providing individual, family and group therapy at Youth and Family Services, City of Fremont’s Family Resource Center in community-based and school-based settings. She currently works part-time at California State University, East Bay as a MFT intern counseling college students and couples.

She enjoys working with varying and diverse populations. Her clinical areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma/ abuse, spiritual struggles, adolescent issues, identity development, career, stress, cross cultural, parenting, adoption, and premarital/ marriage/ relationship issues. Her theoretical approach integrates Strength Based, Cognitive-Behavorial, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Spiritual Counseling, and Family Systems to help meet her client’s needs. Bunny has a passion for preventative mental health as well as spiritually integrative practice in therapy. She creates a safe, warm, listening space for clients and families to find care, empowerment, practical tools, healing, and new resources.

Bunny has 2 wonderful, school-aged children and has been married since 2001. She enjoys spending time exploring new places with her family, hiking, biking, contemplative spiritual practices, watching movies, and connecting with people.
