Charles’ passion is psychological healing and growth. He believes everyone has the innate potential to live full, satisfying and self-actualizing lives with hope, joy, and meaning. He wishes to facilitate change and growth in an open, safe, non-judgmental atmosphere wherein compassion and authenticity will provide the necessary impetus for growth and a sense of wholeness.
Charles operates primarily from an integrative approach, encompassing multiple therapeutic approaches and drawing on various techniques and interventions, as needed. He, however, gains his principal inspiration from Solution Focused and Humanistic orientations such as Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy.
His professional experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults working with issues ranging from anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and depression to persistent and co-morbid issues in a community mental health setting.
