 ABOUT DASHA:
Daria “Dasha” Cochran is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a PhD in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University.

Dasha’s moto in life is “The joy of the Lord is my strength”. Dasha is passionate about helping people grow and develop according to their God-given personality and gifts and gain a sense of purpose in life. She practices solution-focused approaches to counseling, while incorporating personality assessments, positive psychology, internal family systems.

A native of Russia, Dasha specializes in cross-cultural adjustment and multicultural family dynamics, especially among the Russian speaking population. Dasha also has experience working with families where one of the spouses does not adhere to the Christian faith.

Dasha enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. She also enjoys helping adolescent build their sense of self-worth, regain motivation for learning, and learn positive skills for social interaction. In addition to counseling, she teaches high school math at a private Christian school.

Prior to becoming a counselor, Dasha worked for 12 years as a social scientist in the field of program evaluation. Dasha developed data-driven strategies for programs in education, criminal justice, and child welfare and helped them achieve desired outcomes.
