     ABOUT DOROTHY:
If you’re reading this, my guess is that you’re in a place where you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Constant demands of work, marriage and family, caregiving responsibilities and seasons of loss, illness and pain are ever present. The good news is that you don’t have to stay stuck. Wherever you are in your life journey, my passion is to walk alongside you with acceptance and provide a safe space for you to be heard, your pain to be “seen” and for you to be understood without judgment. You will feel empowered as you gain tools, insight and move towards living a life with greater joy and meaning. We can work together to rewrite a new chapter to your story- a story of hope, strength, peace, love and healthy connections with yourself and others.

    My Background
My passion for helping others grew out of my own struggles and the healing I’ve experienced in my own therapy. My primary focus is on women, couples and families. I am certified as a Gottman therapist using evidence-based practices to help bring healing to strained relationships, whether marital or family. I also specialize in helping caregivers and parents reduce burnout and to thrive in the multiple roles they serve. My approach is integrative, strengths based and client-centered using evidence-based interventions.
