 ABOUT JANEEN:
Janeen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received her Master’s degree from Western Seminary in 2011.

She enjoys working with adults and teens who are confronting a challenging life transition and need help in seeking clarity and support during this time of change. Janeen believes that people possess more strength and perseverance than they realize and loves to help bring that to light and offer hope for thriving again, even despite continued struggles.

Some areas of interest in her clinical work include: anxiety, especially in high-achieving teens and young adults; stress management and mindfulness; interpersonal relationships; managing chronic conditions; premarital couples; and working with victims of abuse.

When she is not at CCC seeing clients, Janeen works at a non-profit counseling center which trains over 30 pre-licensed therapists a year to work with K-12 students at nearly 40 public schools in the San Jose area.

During her free time, you can find Janeen reading a new book (or re-reading the Harry Potter series yet again!), going on a walk/hike, and spending time with her husband and extended family.
