Jennifer received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2000 and was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2006. Prior to this she enjoyed an extensive career in the corporate world in Human Resources, Training and Public Relations both in the UK and the USA. Jennifer’s clinical practice is focused on helping adults, adolescents, couples and families to heal from the past and learn the skills and behaviors necessary to have productive and balanced lives and relationships that are anchored in Christ. Her areas of clinical interest include: Depression and mood regulation Anxiety disorders including, PTSD, Panic Disorder and OCD Marital, pre-marital and relational therapy Self-esteem, personal growth and identity issues Grief and loss Infertility issues In addition Jennifer has a special interest in working with clients with Eating Disorders and has completed her certification in Eating Disorders. She has also trained in EMDR and uses this technique in her work with trauma. Originally from the UK, Jennifer moved to the US as an adult so understands cultural transitions and their impact on identity development. Jennifer has worked with Christian Counseling Centers in San Francisco for the past 10 years and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the New Life Network.
