 ABOUT LAUREN:
Lauren is a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee studying at Western Seminary. She developed her desire to counsel serving as a residential advisor in South America post-grad, where she nurtured her passion of caring for people in pain in a multicultural context. Much of her other experiences counseling others have occurred in a ministerial context, which has fostered a special attention in her to the importance of the spiritual and emotional realms in an individual’s life as crucial pieces of wellbeing.

Lauren believes that growth is facilitated in the context of an unconditionally accepting and supportive relationship, so she works to prioritize this as an integral part of her practice. Lauren also deeply values authenticity in the context of the counseling environment and takes a genuine approach in helping people reach their potential and remove obstacles to wellbeing. She has a passion for walking alongside those working through depression, anxiety, spiritual issues, family of origin issues, grief, and self-esteem issues. She feels humbled to be able to walk alongside others in pain and be present for their individual growth journey. Lauren is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
