     ABOUT LORI:
Life is a journey where there are moments of excitement, love, joy and celebration and times when you feel stuck, lost, and isolated along the way. You might be on a path that feels uncomfortable, even painful at times and don’t know where to turn. You are not alone. I believe that we all can achieve a deeper understanding of ourselves within a safe relationship. My goal is to provide a safe place of connection where you can discover new insights, grow in your understanding of self and others and make positive change.

Having spent part of my training at Hospice of the Valley and Pathways, I have a special connection with those who are grieving. I also specialize in couples who are stuck, families who need extra care and emerging adults who often feel isolated, anxious and overwhelmed.

I particularly enjoy parent coaching, parent/child dyads and blended families. Working gently with both adult and child victims of trauma, abuse and neglect is also a specialty of mine.

My approach is depth-oriented, client-centered and eclectic. I am collaborative and compassionate and will provide practical feedback and support to help guide you on your journey to wholeness.

I have been married for over 20 years to an amazing man, and together we share two incredible emerging adults. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. Prior to entering the field of psychology, I was a freelance writer focusing on parenting, marriage and women’s issues. I hold a CA teaching credential in English with an added authorization in History and taught middle school and high school English and Social Studies.
