     ABOUT SHARON:
    Sharon is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She provides professional counseling to individuals, couples, adolescents and children who face everyday life situations that are overwhelming and difficult. Sharon has the experience, understanding, and empathy so you do not have to face complex issues in your life alone. Her warm and friendly style makes for a collaborative therapist-client relationship that is both challenging and supportive while offering insight and feedback as inner wisdom and growth are attained. Her gentle and compassionate style works effectively with clients experiencing conflict due to communication skills, family discord, anxiety, and the grieving process. As a graduate of Holy Names University with a B.A. degree in Psychology, a M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling, Sharon focuses on the whole person bringing together the important components of physical, emotional, and spiritual health. In addition to individual and couples therapy, Sharon’s experience includes working with victims of domestic violence and sex addiction. She has been a member of the California Associate for Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) since 2001. She is a member of and counselor for New Life Ministries and has facilitated various programs including Every Heart Restored. Sharon’s expertise is geared towards helping individuals, couples, teens and children with: communication skills, anxiety disorder and stress management, traumatic events, addictions, sex addiction, depression, setting healthy boundaries, childhood abuse, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and loss and grief. She accepts Victim of Crime (VOC) clients. Sharon worked in corporate America for over 25 years working in various management positions. She has a California Teaching Certificate and has taught for both the Pleasanton Unified School District and the Hayward School District since 2006. She is married with a grown son.
