 ABOUT SHERY:
Many returning military service members have multiple physical and mental health issues including PTS, substance abuse, depression, as well as the challenges associated with mTBI and/or chronic pain. I provide psychotherapy specifically for anyone who is/was involved with the military such as veterans, active-duty service members, and/or their family members. I specialize in combat-related PTS (as well as combat stress/operational stress), substance abuse, and depression for service members; and deployment issues for service members and their families. It is my personal crusade to end veteran homelessness, military suicides, and the domestic violence that so commonly plagues military families.

As a traumatologist, I also treat (civilian) adults for childhood trauma and abuse, and those experiencing PTSD symptoms from other types of trauma such as natural disasters, sexual assaults, or life-threatening accidents.

I am also a certified Biblical counselor and I can also incorporate Christian doctrine and practices into the therapy at the client’s request.
