ABOUT TATE:
I’m an associate professional clinical counselor, school psychologist, author, international lecturer, former minister and business executive, and risk therapist/enthusiast. I’m fascinated by how we relate to risk as it pertains to relationships, pursuing dreams, and personal development. Passions include facilitating honest conversations with one self, building stronger connections with others, and overcoming shame. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel accepted, seen, and known. I believe the best therapists have the perfect ratio of empathy grunts, well-timed pauses, and genuine questions. (< life goal!)
If you’re looking for a safe haven from spiritual burnout, dealing with anxiety symptoms, cycle of addictions, or need help processing life transitions, I can help you. I’m looking forward to hearing your story.
I’m an avid sports fan and aspiring standup comic. I love traveling and volunteering in developing countries, nerd out on board games and podcasts, sing when no one is watching, and spend way too much time watching social experiments on YouTube.
