     ABOUT TINA:
    Tina Engel is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. She earned B.A. degrees in Sociology and Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is certified in Lay Counseling and PREPARE/ENRICH Marriage and Premarital Counseling. She has also completed Basic Training in Elijah House School of Prayer Ministry.

    She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Tina has 12 years experience in church ministry. She and her husband teach marriage workshops and pre-marital seminars throughout the Bay Area and parts of Sacramento.

    Tina specializes in couples therapy and family healing in areas of codependency, life transitions, grief and loss, low self worth, childhood wounds, emotional issues, substance addiction, sexual abuse, affair recovery, and strongholds. Tina is a motivational strengths builder who thrives on helping others find their purpose, place and peace in life.

    Tina has been married since 1995 and is raising two teenagers with her husband. In her leisure time Tina enjoys softball, volleyball, scrap booking, hiking and reading.
