ABOUT GANLIN:
Ganlin is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated Santa Clara University. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, then worked at a local community-based organization as a domestic violence bilingual advocate for more than seven years. Her professional, spiritual, and personal journey has brought her to believe that sometimes it could be too much for ourselves to handle the challenges in life and it would be the time to reach out for help. In a safe, non-judgmental, and accepting environment, a person can be their most authentic self to unpack, explore, experience restoration and healing, and make desired changes. As clients share and process their experiences, Ganlin aims to listen, highlight their strengths, offer her insights, and empower them with tools for their thriving.
Ganlin is passionate about supporting her clients to navigate challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, spiritual issues, family-of-origin issues, cultural issues, and relationship issues. She has extensive experience working with domestic violence survivors, human trafficking survivors, new immigrants, and international college students in individual or group settings. Besides English, Ganlin also speaks native Mandarin Chinese.
