     ABOUT KATIE:
Katie is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, with a passion for working with couples and individuals to navigate seasons of change, help with communication, emotional connection, and parenting. Katie has been married for 17 years, has three children.

Katie is completing her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She spent a decade in the digital marketing field and understands the demands of business life and the challenges of family and work balance. She has navigated the past two decades as the wife of a pastor and the deconstructing and reconstructing of faith in the church context.

There is support and help for the challenges and struggles you face in life. You deserve to have the support, information, and a safe space they need through challenging seasons, decisions, and situations in your life.

Katie is available for both in person and telehealth sessions and often works from the Emotionally Focused Therapy model and the Gottman Couple Therapy model.

    Specialization

Katie specializes in: marriage therapy, couples therapy, parenting challenges, postpartum, life transitions, premarital counseling, stress, and anxiety.

Katie understands the challenges that come with becoming new parents, understanding developmental stages of children, forming healthy attachments with our children, identity issues for moms during motherhood, and the ways to grow connection in your marriage during each season. Katie also has a passion to provide support to pregnant and postpartum moms as they process and navigate the common difficulties associated with pregnancy, postpartum, and marital changes in early parenthood.

Katie is also available to support parents in parent child interaction therapy for families struggling with behavioral or developmental difficulties.
