ABOUT JESSICA:
Dr. Jessica Farber earned her Doctorate of Psychology from Argosy University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley. She has been in private practice at the Christian Counseling Center since 2009. She works with adults and teens and her clinical areas of focus include anxiety and panic, fears and phobias, survivors of physical and sexual abuse, depression, trauma, cultural differences and acculturation, and bipolar disorder.
Dr. Farber’s philosophy for therapy includes an individualized approach based on the specific strengths, needs and goals of each client, integrating spiritual growth, symptom reduction, relationships and physical health. Dr. Farber utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
