     ABOUT KIMMIE:
    “It’s been an honor.”

That’s how I would describe my life and work—it’s been an honor to have the experiences I’ve had, share life with the people I’ve known, and serve where I’ve served.

And yet, it’s never easy is it? Something about our lives, and more specifically our Silicon Valley lives, presses in on us from all sides. Our families of origin speak to us and shape us in ways that are comfortable and uncomfortable, our relationships and careers demand the best parts of us, when at times there can feel like there isn’t enough of ‘us’ to go around.

Counseling gives us a chance to step back and listen. What are our lives telling us about who we are? What are our relationships, patterns and behaviors, saying about the things we value? What does it mean to be who we are, and how do we view a more focused version of the uniqueness of that image? What might our faith, spirituality, and wellness have to say about it all?

    My Background

I’m Kimmie, and it would an honor to take this exploratory journey of life and hope together. I’ve been a High School educator here in the Valley for over 20 years, and I have a B.A. in History from UC Santa Barbara, a Masters of Education from Stanford, and will earn a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara in 2023.

I look forward to meeting you!

    Specialization
