 ABOUT MINA:
Mina is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist/Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her B.S. Degree from San Jose State University and her M.A. Degree from California Southern University. Prior to graduate studies, she worked in church administration, lay counseling, relationship coaching; and drug/alcohol residential rehab.

Mina is passionate about working with couples and families. She provides space to practice listening, resolving conflicts and accepting differences. She equips parents using Love and Logic techniques and answers personality questions with enneagram tools. She has a special interest in helping those who struggle with anxiety, trauma, loss and identity. She uses a variety of researched based and biblically supported treatment to best fit each clients needs. This starts with person-centered therapy and includes Internal Family Systems, Gestalt and TEAM-CBT. Mina recommends Journey Groups through Deeper Walk international for spiritual/emotional maturity and Celebrate Recovery for habits, addictions and anxiety.

In addition to working at CCC, she functions as an elementary school counselor providing TeleHealth therapy for children. She supports families struggling with ‘shelter in place’ and stress. She is also currently volunteering at her church as HeartSync facilitator and online group leader.

Mina has been married since 1998 and has two teenagers and two young adult children. She enjoys free time with family, friends; and is a life long learner. She believes that by “showing up” it provides a growth opportunity for your life. We show up to give and receive love from one another and God.
