ABOUT DASHA:
Daria “Dasha” Cochran is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a PhD in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University.
Dasha is passionate about helping people overcome anxiety, trauma, and relational tensions. She loves to help people develop according to their God-given personality and gifts, and to gain a sense of purpose in life. She practices solution-focused approaches to counseling while incorporating personality assessments, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-informed approaches, such as EMDR.
Dasha specializes in cross-cultural adjustment, multicultural family dynamics, and cross-faith relationships.
Dasha enjoys working with adolescents and adults, individually or as couples. She has a unique passion for helping adolescents build up their sense of self-worth, regain motivation for learning, and learn adaptive social skills.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Dasha worked for 12 years as a social scientist in the field of program evaluation. Dasha developed data-driven strategies for programs in education, criminal justice, and child welfare.
