     ABOUT DON:
Don provides a warm, safe environment in which you may relax and let your story unfold. The deepest part of ourselves yearns for expression and affirmation. Conversation is one of life’s most effective ways to connect with our center. We need listeners, reflectors, and guides. And the more these allies can respectfully and insightfully touch our spiritual selves, the more likely we will find healing and wholeness. Don is one of these.

He has always been inclined toward the spiritual; his pastor who lived down the street when he grew up recognized this quality in him early on. Don pursued life in the marketplace as an attorney and mediator but discovered that his neighbor was right so he ended up as an ordained minister. A long bout with serious cancer, about which he has written, deepened his spiritual sensitivity, leading up to his surprising cure and eventual work as a hospice chaplain.

Life lessons from his personal experiences in his Areas of Focus (above and below) provide him with a deep awareness of others’ joys and pains. In a world crying out for answers and hope, he offers both. His certification as a pastoral counselor and a spiritual director add to his qualifications for supporting others’ emotional, psychological and spiritual journeys.

    Additional Areas of Focus:
Abuse Recovery, Adoption, Aging, Agoraphobia, Anger Management, Attachment Disorders, Blended Families, Childhood Abuse, Codependency, Disabilities, Divorce Recovery, Domestic Violence, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Family of Origin Issues, Life Transitions, Mediation, Men’s Issues, Occupational Problems, Physical Pain, Premarital Therapy, PTSD, Remarriage, Self Esteem, and Singles Issues.
