ABOUT DOROTHY:
Dorothy is passionate about bringing hope, meaning, and healing to her clients through a strengths-based, client-centered, multicultural, and integrative approach. Dorothy uses treatment approaches based on cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment, family systems, solution-focused and humanistic theories. Dorothy integrates expressive arts, experiential as well as faith-based interventions (as requested) to create an interactive therapy experience.
Dorothy is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling at Palo Alto University. She has coached high school/youth adults with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders and has been active in parent education and leading groups for youth, adults, and seniors.
In her free time, Dorothy serves as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for foster youth and serves in her church and community. Dorothy is available for in-person and telehealth sessions.
