ABOUT MICHELLE:
I love my work as a therapist and find value in holding a safe space for my clients to seek freedom and growth. I often find my clients being stuck in similar cycles/patterns and wanting help to find different ways to navigate through life. It is a privilege to share space with my clients to explore and work through these areas of unresolved issues to bring liberation and hope.
My Background
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my M.A. in Clinical Psychology. I have previously worked at San Jose Behavior Health where I grew my experience working with patients that were struggling with severe mental health issues. I have experience working in an outpatient program, private practice, as well as an elementary school providing therapy to populations ranging from ages 5 to 70s. I enjoy working with couples and also have experience working with parents through parent coaching and family therapy.
Areas of Focus
I focus on: Couples counseling, relationships & intimacy issues, emotional abandonment & cut-off, communication & conflict resolution, grief & loss, low self-worth, childhood wounds, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
