ABOUT MICHELLE:
Michelle is passionate about raising awareness and reducing stigma on mental health, especially in culturally minority communities. She wants to see therapy being normalized and more people taking advantage of it.
Born in Korea and raised in CA, Michelle understands the complexities of immigrant family dynamics and generational conflicts. She is fluent in Korean and English, and intermediate in Spanish, and loves working with clients from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
Michelle has extensive experience working for Fortune 500 companies in Account Management and Sales, as well as working with survivors of domestic violence and other gender based violence, and at-risk youths in the foster care system. Michelle is trained in Phase I and Phase II of Brainspotting, which is an evidence-based intervention effective for processing trauma. She loves helping clients heal from their past trauma, childhood wounds, attachment difficulties, spiritual abuse, anxiety, and depression.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys finding different restaurants for good food, loves to travel, and is an avid reader and a lifelong learner.
