More About this therapist

Chelsea enjoys working with children, teens, adults, couples and families of all cultural and religious backgrounds, helping them to cope with difficult life experiences in creative and holistic ways. She is devoted to providing space in therapy for the interaction of spiritual concerns, to whatever degree the client is most comfortable with. Chelsea employs a process of collaboration and openness, including the client in the creation of meaningful solutions that meet their diverse needs. Her areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, relationship and family therapy, children, identity development, chemical dependency, aging, and developmental disorders.

A second and separate focus of Chelsea’s work is that of providing a supportive and protected space for Pastors/Ministry leaders and their families in times of stress, working to rekindle the joy in each other and their ministry. Her passion for this work is partially influenced by her own experiences with the particular needs of pastors and their families as a pastors daughter herself, and by her recognition that every minister faces unique situations that require individual support. She also has a passion for assisting church organizations and administrations in mediation of conflict and increasing organizational efficiency and Christ-reflectiveness through relationship education.

Chelsea has served in ministry for 13 years, involving child, youth, and music leadership, and further experience in counseling and supportive care for ministry and families. She has experience in conducting self-improvement and educational groups. Chelsea enjoys art, nature, reading, traveling, cultural experiences and learning, and especially serving the Lord through music and teaching.
