Dan Jackowitz is a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist who earned his Masters Degree at Western Seminary San Jose. As an MFT, he has worked since 1999, beginning at Advent Group Ministries. Dan counseled teenagers caught in drug & alcohol addiction. At Advent, Dan ministered to these teens & their families, as well as working with people from the local community. His great joy was to create a safe, hopeful, & fun therapeutic relationship with abused, traumatized, scared teens and see their lives change.

Dan enjoys working with teens & adults who are looking for help to understand themselves better so they can make better choices, fitting who they are, and who God created them to be. He has an easy going style, is a good listener, and loves bringing insight to his clients. Dan’s training as a strategic coach helps him in asking insightful questions that lead his clients to big discoveries, foundational change, and a more fulfilling life.
Dan has been married to his wife Cindy for nearly 15 years and together they have two children, ages 10 and 7. He enjoys singing, reading, hiking, and lots of family time. He and his family moved to the Folsom area in 2021 to be closer to Dan’s family.
