About this Therapist

Miriam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. Since 2009, she has been working with a diverse population of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her clinical areas of focus include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress related disorders, physical and emotional trauma, grief and loss, life transition, personal growth, interpersonal relationship, abuse, amongst others. Miriam is also a certified therapist in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment that enables people to recover from PTSD, anxiety, trauma, depression, panic disorders and other distressing life experiences.
